Michael Giacchino's Roar at The Oscars


Michael Giacchino's "Roar" from Cloverfield was played as background music while Will Smith presented the award for Visual Effects. The AMPAS, still stuck in the 90s, does not have video available, but check out this clip from YouTube...

    I thought that there would be a little more excitement over this.

    As Cloverfield was not nominated for any awards, at least it was "present" during the ceremony!
