ReplyDeleteThis new tv spot is cool but I saw a different one tonight on UPN during Friday Night Smackdown. It showed the tunnel scene but this time it had a little more dialogue and there were some rats and someone said why are they all running this way or something to that effect and then they hear something and they all run. Has anyone else seen this.

Higgins, that picture is kinda weird I don't know but it looks like they're carrying something. Maybe it's Beth since they are trying to get to her apartment to save her.
ReplyDeletedude there was nothing in that little green circle. you saying that blur is something is about as accurate as whoever it was that said there was a growth on the soldier (not sure if it was this one or another. browsed around sties for awhile before finding this one)its just a blur.

ReplyDeleteDid anyone else notice that in the subway/tunnel scene that Rob is pinned to the wall by something other than a human hand. It looks like its a nonhuman, possibly one of the smaller monsters I've been reading about?
ReplyDeleteThere was nothing holding him against the wall. Looks to me like they are either falling back against it to hide or out of being exhausted. As for whatever that guy thinks he sees on that womans hand or dress in a previous post, thats just a string/tassle of her dress. I put it up on my tv and can clearly see its even the same colored material.

ReplyDeleteI'm finding the still frame/pic of the character Lilly displayed just above very creepy. She looks very pale and skeletal... creepy.
ReplyDeleteI know that it's just the stillness of the shot that makes it look this way, but I think this movie is going to be genuinely scary. I think it's because of the idea that it's all shot through a video camera.
Blair Witch still freaks me out. I love scary movies.

ReplyDeleteThis spot is really not any different than any other at this point. They are getting great mileage out of re-cutting existing footage and audio into myriad "new" tv spots. Their library of clips and audio tracks is sorta like a big box of Legos to them at this point. And of course the fan community starts salivating after each one thinking "this'll be the awesomest one where we will see something new if we sit here and freeze frame it over and over."
