Tagruato, the parent company to
Slusho, has begun sending out emails. Tagurato and Slusho played in big part in the Alternate Reality Game (ARG) for the first Cloverfield movie.
I'm still not sure what to make of all that
Swamp Pop stuff, but this looks like the official start of the 10 Cloverfield Lane ARG.
Someone suggested that perhaps all the Swamp Pop stuff might just be something that that company is doing on its own. Perhaps they're just trying to capitalize on the fact that their product is in a Cloverfield spin off and they're leading us to believe that it's a legit ARG when really they're just trying to sell their product.
ReplyDeleteHow much soda have they sold simply because people wanted to get ahold of a few puzzle pieces.
But the Tagurato email on the other hand....that definitely seems like the beginning of something real.
That's an interesting take. Considering all the pieces seem to do is reference the Eiffel tower. Other than appearing on a shirt and in a picture on the wall, I have no idea how that could pertain to the movie at all.
DeleteThis is probably all a coincidence....
ReplyDeleteBut eyebrow raising nonetheless.

Hmm... If you compare this to the poster, the house pictured certainly looks like something you'd see in the southern countryside, and Tennessee, in my opinion, is close enough to NYC that if a significant enough amount of time has passed, Clover could have devastated the entire east coast...
DeleteAnd here is the actual puzzle they're working on in the trailer.
