  1. HOLY...

I don't speak a word of it, but it already is cool - the panel where you see the monster look in - amazing.

    Can't wait for a translation.

  3. Dude the missle that they use to try and kill the monster is strangely similar to the splash at the end of the movie!!
The object that drops in the water even looks missle shaped and it makes a splash that is obviously huge to be seen from NY (MISSLE SPPLASH IS HUUGGEEE) that is my guess at wht the splash is

  4. Sweetness! Some get to work on the translation, now! There is some freaky stuff happening here!

Although, this does seem to disprove my mutation theory. Well, almost. Can't rule it out just yet. There is still some sort of link between the monster and Seabed's Nectar, and I wanna know what.

  5. What's with that guy at the end?! And is there some link between the kid and the Monster?! And how does Slusho tie in to this?!

I think that Cloverfield is going a lot deeper than any of us anticipated.

  6. I don't speak/read Japanese, but this is f@#^ed up! The panels with the monster are awesome, and on the last few pages... is there a CULT or RELIGION about the monster??!!?

  7. So this helps explain at least that Tagruato was trying to transport the creature and then when it escaped they started attacking it. The pictures on 1-18-08.com are the pictures just not in manga form. That's tagruato trying to destroy it and it is destroying all the ships and there's aircraft and stuff, just like in the manga.

  8. Also that locket in one of the pages looks like it has the creatures finger nails attached to it, they look identical to the creature finger nails. Then the guy holding the girl has like a bracelet with a tiny pair on it also. Could it be possible there are smaller ones, that they have been using for slusho and then Tagruato got greedy and tried a bigger "baby".

  9. I have no ide whats going on only that if it turns out that some Japonese kid is controling the monster it will be a sad ending to a great story!

  10. I bet that cult-looking group near the end is TIDOwave!

  11. about the people wearing the mask at the end...has any realized that they look a bit like the monster it self when its mouth is closed?

  12. now that is awesomeh!! hmmm the whole cult thing... maybe these people believe the monster is a god or something and want to worship it. and capturing that kid, maybe they know a connection and want him to get them to the monster. idk but this is getting intense lol

  13. That cult IS compeling and it looks like the all the chains the ships had coming off them went to the one monster.

I still think there is one monster who has just come up - not a child or anything lame like that - but hey, there isn't a translation yet.

  14. The scientist holding the slusho bottle looks like the Father figure from kishin's flashbacks when he is young,
Im almost sure thats his father...

DAMN that was a good Chapter...
its obviously the creature from the movie.
they drew the creature good enough, Only his hands aren't true to the source (if you look at the figure you can see he has a Human like Thumbs and a bit different palm structure)
it doesn't matter so much ...
    its still BADASS ~

  15. The swirling wave beads of the bracelet have me convinced that this is TIDOwave at work.

  16. someone mentioned that the necklace had nails that looked like they were from the monster. My bet is they could have been from the parasite, which would have made more sense. It would have been fucking hard for them to take some nail from MGP, but the parasites are smaller and easier to kill.
