There is a mysterious update to the Slusho website. A strange symbol, which looks like a sword and a quote balloon, is appearing on the main page, and on the contest page. I checked the site, and don't see any other changes, or anything else hidden in the flash files - so I don't know what to make of it. Let the wild speculation begin...* Thanks to Luis S for pointing this out!

I'd say it looks more like a 9, in accordance to the 9 cups on the main site perhaps? Might just be a new logo they're playing with

ReplyDeletemaybe its just a little change to hint to the public that the ARG is continuing now after the release of the film.
ReplyDeletemaybe they noticed that a lot of us had come to the conclusion that the ARG was dead and they added a small change to show us that they are still updating things.

On my first post I said to check out "mitima" on wikipedia. Well I spelled it wrong. It's "mitama". They also feature prominently in "Blue Seed", an excellent anime that's riddled with Japanese folklore....and monsters.

ReplyDeleteThe sword was originally blue when I made the post, but it changed to black the next day. However, if you look inside the flash file, the image is still blue, and they added some code to turn it black. Here is the code:

ReplyDeleteand it represents the monster and i believe the sword represents a rebellion (if you will ( but only if you will)) and its kind of a way to publicly anounce that.. idk maybe like money you pay for slusho may go to help some how or way you know like vh1 save the music... that is all
