International 10 Cloverfield Lane Trailer - Spoilers!

The international 10 Cloverfield Lane trailer takes a much different approach to marketing the film, specifically highlighting what takes place outside of the bunker, and revealing the monsters that live outside the bunker.

There is a new 10 Cloverfield Lane trailer titled "Be Prepared" with a bunch of new dialog and dialog, plus a new voice-over:

In today's world, you have to be prepared for anything. You need a flashlight, clothes, a first aid kit, a diesel generator, a reliable water source, three years worth of canned food, a gas mask, and a reinforced concrete bunker, built at least 40 feet below ground. 

But in the end, there are some things you can't prepare for.

New 10 Cloverfield Lane Clip - Can I Help You?

There is a short new clip on the official 10 Cloverfield Lane facebook page which contains a new lines of dialog by John Goodman and John Gallagher Jr.:

Howard: Can I help you with something?

Emmett: No, I'm just grabbing some water.

New 10 Cloverfield Lane Trailer On Official Facebook Page

There is a new trailer on the official 10 Cloverfield Lane Facebook page.

There is not much new in this trailer, but we do a couple of new shots of the bunker, and a new line from John Goodman:

40 feet underground
3 years worth of food and water
and everyone outside of here is dead.

However, the biggest news is the credits, with Bryan Burk, Drew Goddard, and Matt Reeves getting added as Executive Producers.

Hidden Trailer Images Contain Mysterious Numbers and Words

Now that we have high-resolution screenshots of the hidden images found in the 10 Cloverfield Lane trailers that were shown during Deadpool, it was clear that not only we were missing some numbers, but there was some hidden meta-data was well.

When you look at the images full size, you can see streaks of weird colors. Playing with the Hue and Saturation in Photoshop reveals two things: the numbers everyone have been talking about are circled, and there is a hidden word in each image as well:

Here are the adjusted images and the hidden messages:

Parachute Pants - 30.6 (Able)
Navy Football - 75 68 (Baker)
Sailor Monkey - 9, -9 (Charlie)
Flotation Vest - 0.12 (Dog)
On Deck - 5742 (Easy)

The leading theory on the numbers is that they form GPS coordinates. Now that we have all the numbers, we just need the order, which is where I think the hidden words come into play. Putting the number/word pairs in alphabetical order would give us:

30.675689, -90.125742

This appears to be an empty corner lot in Covington, LA, about 50 miles north of New Orleans.

Unfortunately, I'm about 700+ miles away, or I would already be on my way. Hopefully someone a little closer who is reading this can check it out and let us know if you find anything!

10 Cloverfield Lane Trailers Shown During Deadpool Found On YouTube

Online versions of the 10 Cloverfield Lane trailers shown during Deadpool last weekend have been found on YouTube!

Searching YouTube today for the keyword "Sailor Monkey", a description of one of the hidden images, turned up a video and channel of the same name containing one of the 5 trailer variants. However, this channel only contained one of the videos. After trying dozens and dozens of different keywords, the other 4 videos were eventually found.

See if you can find the other four yourselves - one of them was particularly challenging.

New 10 Cloverfield Lane Trailers in Theaters This Weekend

There are five new 10 Cloverfield Lane trailer variants showing in theaters this weekend, each containing a different hidden image. The trailers are running before some showings of Deadpool, Zoolander 2, and/or The Hateful Eight, but they could be attached to other PG-13, R, or NC-17 movies as well. Some theaters (Cinemark, Regal, Carmike) also have exclusive trailers for their chains, so it may be difficult to see them all in person, depending on where you live.

So far, all five images have been captured by folks at Reddit, and they all appear to contain mysterious numbers, but the quality of the images so far is terrible. When we find better quality versions, we'll update this post, so keep checking back!

One other interesting thing I noticed, the "hazmat" suit appears to be hand made, out of duct tape and soda bottles.
