JJ Abrams Mystery Box Edition of WIRED
The May issue of WIRED magazine recruited JJ Abrams as the guest editor. A year in the making, the "Mystery Issue" features a one-issue redesign directed by JJ, with mind-boggling puzzles on almost every page and hidden clues "that are not apparent at first or second glance."
This means that while many of the articles and puzzles are available online, you will need to get the magazine to get the full Easter egg experience.
Either way, be sure to check out the JJ Abrams article on mysteries and spoilers (spoiler alert: spoilers are bad, mkay?), and the "between-the-pages" interview below.
By the way, the "Mystery Box" on the cover refers to a very funny speech that Abrams gave at the TED conference in March 2007.

Slusho! Themed Star Trek Enterprise
The official Star Trek website has a new section - The Enterprise Project - featuring models of NCC-1701 redecorated by various artists. One of the most interesting is Enterprise #12, the Slusho! theme by Bad Robot artist and animator Amy Vatanakul. All of the great Slusho! memes are represented, the Seabed Nectar, the Sword logo, "You Can't Drink Just Six", and of course all the fun Slusho! peope and critters. Nice work Amy!

Is there a new Star Trek ARG?
I get a lot of emails about movies, especially if they are J.J. Abrams related. One of the latest featured photos from some Star Trek "dance" parties taken by TheCobraSnake. I'm not much of a Trekkie, but I am a J.J. Abrams fan, so this looked like something I should check out ;)
Anyways, one of the first few photos I looked at had a weird URL written on it. It doesn't look natural (like it is photoshopped or something). Hmmm....
The address - http://0100001101100001.eu - takes you to a weird flash site with static and flashing images and weird sound.
I looked through the other Star Trek party photos, and found two other images with URL's in them:
The two other URL's I found - http://0100000101101100.eu and http://01001111.com, have very similar (or the same?) flash websites.
This could be a CobraSnake thing (gamejack?), but since the photos are Star Trek related, I was thinking it could be for a Star Trek ARG? Does anyone know anyting about this? I googled it, but wasn't able to find anything about it... Just in case, I started a new thread over at Unfiction if you want to investigate it further, or feel free to discuss it in the comments...
