Life Preserving Information on FAPT

In addition to the new message on FAPT, danteIL at unfiction and Mithsiel Daniel in the comments noticed that the previously broken KEEP CHECKING THIS SITE link on FAPT was now working, and takes you to FunAndPrettyThings.com/LifePreservingInformation

The new page is a Megan survival guide, with fun tips on how to put together a bug-out bag or hot-wire a car. 

There are also links to other survival pages and helpful information such as weather and train schedules. 

There's a lot to look at, but at first glace, some of these links appear to be to real survival websites, so don't expect that everything is part of the game.

There's a new message on the FunAndPrettyThings.com website today from Radioman70 to his daughter Megan. In this message we learn that Howard lives in New Orleans, and that Megan likes Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream.

DEAR MEGAN,

YOU HAVEN’T REPLIED TO MY LAST MESSAGE YET. I GUESS YOUR MOM IS WATCHING YOU PRETTY CLOSELY, HUH? I SUPPOSE WE SHOULD FEEL SORRY FOR HER SINCE SHE’S ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE SO BLINDED BY THEIR PREJUDICES, SO BRAINWASHED BY WHAT EVERYONE AROUND HER IS SAYING, SHE WON’T LISTEN TO THE TRUTH. I HOPE YOU KNOW THAT’S THE REASON BEHIND THOSE THINGS SHE SAYS ABOUT ME. I KNOW YOU’RE SMART ENOUGH TO SEE THROUGH IT.

DinosaurDracula at Reddit has discovered that the "Radioman 70" phrase on the shirt Howard Stambler (aka John Goodman) is wearing in his Employee of the Month photo can be made into the URL: radioman70.com

Going to this site, redirects you to FunAndPrettyThings.com.

Things to note about this page:

• The photo with the letters is missing the following letters; M E G A N


• If you try to "cheat" by viewing the source code for the page, there is a warning message:

• One of the photos is the Eiffel Tower, and there were a lot of Eiffel towers in the 10 Cloverfield Lane trailer.

The photo of the computer appears to be from a scene in the movie "Pretty In Pink", and when you click on the photo, a window pops-up and asks for a passphrase.

Reddit user BriarrRose figured out from the Pretty In Pink scene that the passphrase is "Do you want to talk?" which leads you to a secret message board.

Radioman70 has posted a message to his daughter Megan warning her about an impending danger, and for her to get to shelter as soon as possible. It appears that Howard has build two bunkers, one where he lives(?), and another in Chicago.

If you try to reply to the chat, another window pops up asking if you are Megan, and if you say yes, is asks:

"What was the secret gift I gave you on your 13th birthday?"

It could be anything, but probably something small since it is a secret. Maybe it is something in one of these photos or something hidden in the bunker, which is 'filled with everything she likes'.
