1-18-08 - HIDDEN MESSAGES!

There are two HIDDEN MESSAGES on the backs of two of the photos on the 1-18-08 site. To flip a photo over, drag the photo to the top of the stack and "shake it" back-and-forth.

The first hidden message is on the back of the "rob drinking" photo. It says "Dont forget who takes care of you! Love J"

Who's J? JJ Abrams? :) Probably JJ Hawkins (see MySpace post)

The second hidden message is on the back of the newest photo.

It is titled: "Lascano, Platt and Robbie - Jan 2008" and reads: "Robbie, Here, use this photo to send a message of my hotness far and wide!!! Im gonna miss the hell out of ya!! Love, Jamie"
Jamie must be Jaimie Lascano, and the guy in the middle is Hudson Platt.

UPDATE: the link above is to our mirror of the original 1-18-08 site. DO NOT go to the original 1-18-08 website anymore. The domain expired and is no longer controlled by Paramount, and someone else snatched it up to run ads with malware.

  1. Good work on catching those flipping pictures. I just came across it now... Unfortunately it doesn't seem to tell us anything more than a couple of names.

  2. To flip the pictures, you must grab one by the edges, and make a half-circle from bottom to top. At least that's how I did it.

Thinking about it, a motion like drawing an exaggerated parentheses.

  3. As is being reported elsewhere ...
Jamie Lascano has a myspace... and a few names and faces are popping up.

  4. I wouldn't assume those comments are both from Jamie. The handwriting is really different. Particularly in the signature. The 'J' in the sign-off in the one note is very dissimilar from the two capital 'J's in Jamie's note.

I'm opting for the notes being from Jason and Jamie.

  5. The handwritting is different. The Love J, looks like a man handwriting. I just got It... Love J is Love Jason. Thats why Rob is so worried about where Jason is in the trailer. Jason takes care of Rob.

  6. wow. now I can't shake the thought of Rob's way-too-drunk friend stumbling up and saying, "Hey Rob, you gonna smoke my Love J or what?"

  7. http://www.myspace.com/jamielascano

I can't 100% tell if her face is the same as the one in the photo. But check it out. I think there are multiple profiles from the people at the party connected. There's a http://www.myspace.com/robbyhawkins

    What do y'all think?

  8. If the myspace profiles are anything to go by, J, or Jason, or JJ, and Rob are brothers (did we know this?) JJ and Rob Hawkins

  9. I think the girl on the right of the two scared girls is Jason's girlfriend, Lil.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Its them, Beth is the girl who says "I love Rob", or "Rob's great".

Also the guy "Hawk" on the myspace references pounding a Slusho in one of his blogs.

  11. Nice.

At first, I thought it was just a coincidence, but then I noticed there were no random friends. It's a closed community, and that just seems really unlikely. You know- just seven fairly social Manhattan folks with no other friends than themselves....

The Slusho, of course, clinches it.

I'd say it's odd that Jamie misspelled Robby's name, but then I wouldn't be surprised to learn that spelling wasn't Jamie's strong suit.

  13. The 12:01am photo is of JJ giving his younger brother, Rob a hand with his drink, hence the "Dont forget who takes care of you! Love J"

  14. JJ=Jason Hawkins, Rob's brother. Therefore, J=JJ. That's who takes care of Rob; his brother.

Wait, when did they add people to "Friends"?

    ;)

Anyways, what happends when you request an add?

  17. Wait a sec, how'd writing get on the back of the photos if the attack happend minutes later? Did they run to their PCs and print off the photos to write on, and if so, how'd "the attack" photos get with them?

  19. One of the pictures uses the words "hotness" and "hell". The other picture says to remember who takes care of you which is signed by "J". The "hotness" and "hell" are probably refering to Satan rising up from hell to destroy us all. The "J" is probably refering to Jesus Christ who will be the one to come rescue us from the evil. Hmmmmmmm Sounds good to me...

  20. anyone else notice that the photo from 1201 has smeared or faded letters?

in the phrase "don't forget who takes care of you", the letters "s care" are faded (and a little of the 'e' before the 's')

scare? maybe its just a random coincidence

I was just about to say the exact same thing. On the 12:04 photo that's signed "Love, Jamie," the words "and wide" seem to be smeared or distorted in some fashion. Are they trying to give piecemeal clues by doing this with the letters?

  22. all the other photos can be turned round too now but they are all blank on the back... maybe forfuture reference....anybody tried looking for a myspace, facebook or blog page of the new character names? But id be quick looking lol im sure there will be about 90,000 within 24 hours of this coming out XD

  23. Has anyone noticed that everyone except Jamie have two more friends on their myspace than those that are shown? Everyone but Hud and Lena have 7, but it says 9 total. Hud and Lena aren't friends, which means that they have 6 shown, and 8 total. Since Jamie has 7 shown and 7 total, it makes me believe that she was the last one to join the group of friends, and never met two people that were deleted.

In the 12:04 picture, with Jamie, Robby, and Hud, what is in Jamie's hand? Looks like it has the letters "HD" on it...

On Lena's myspace, she says she is from "The only city, New York", while everyone else says "New York, New York". Maybe this means that New York is the only city "attacked"...?

    Just a thought.

  25. why is there a piece of scotch tape over their names and the date?

    ReplyDelete
  26. You mean the names that are on the back of the picture with Jamie, Robbie, and Hudson on it?

    ReplyDelete
  27. "s care" is faded on J's message
"and w" is smudged on Jamie's message

    just a note.

  28. if you tilt your computer screen as you look at the picture and you can see the numbers 510 on the red cup. maybe this is part of the mixing ratio for the slusho flavors?

  29. If the "S CARE" means scare.
We may have to watch ol' J.

    ReplyDelete
  30. i think that we all must of seen on the back of the photo's that ther are letters smudged wich are "andw" on letter 1 and on the 2nd letter "escare"........

if we put them together we get "andwescare" if you havn't figured it out we have

    "AND WE SCARE"
