Monstrous Poster - Now in Focus!
Thanks to luwho12345 at Unfiction for a MUCH better photo of the Monstrous poster. In this photo, you can clearly see the date and Paramount logo at the bottom.
In an unrelated story, it seems that Greg Grunberg of Felicity/Lost/Heros fame will be in the movie.

Here's a practical question:
It seems like it would be very hard to knock the head off of the Statue of Liberty without also knocking the arm off, or knocking the whole thing over.
In the trailer, we only saw the head, so we didn't know what happened to the rest of the statue.
So, how was the head removed?

Sweeeet! Tx Dennis, et.al. Heh, big surprise about Greg G. being in the movie! It's nice that Abrams is so good to his friends. It's also nice to have good friends in high places. :-)
I guess as long as the Monstrous thing didn't just swing a big tail around to knock off the head, it could have twisted the head off with its bare.....hands/paws/claws/etc.

he states that it's not just one monster but 3, coming straight oyt of the old testament in the bible. one from land(Behemoth), one from the sea(Leviathan), and one from the sky(Ziz,most likely how just the head could be removed from the statue of liberty). he also ties in the slusho webpage. if you visit the site,Slusho.jp, you will notice the only working links are the opening page(land),& two others which feature the kids floating with ballons in the sky & then under water.

upper left is one eye (below the light), follow it over to the right and we have the brow and the OTHER eye!!
is that meant to be there?? or is it something else????

I think that is just the reflections from the plastic coving the posters. Check out the uncropped photo here.

What does "not really" mean? Anyyyywho....has anyone pointed out the face/s in this monstrous poster? I see one in the condensed weird matrix lines/clouds at top left. Also in the negative image there is a larger one. This one looks like an X-ray of a skull. With the right eye Where the M in monster is. It looks complete with nose and teeth. I also see something symmetrical in the wake above the 1-18-08 that doesn't mirror the air above it. The crescent of the wake looks like a saucer and alien eyes if you turn it 180 degrees.
