IESB.net claims to have exclusive "spy footage" from the Cloverfield set. Not a whole lot information there - helicopter lands, some people running around, military vehicles.
You can
check it out at IESB's site here.
UPDATE:
They have posted up addition photos and video.
Huey = cheap. The U.S. hasn't used Hueys since the 80's.
ReplyDeleteCome on Abrams, spring for a Blackhawk! Or a Super Stallion.
im just happy that they are actually filming since there were some reports about slow production
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's a slightly modified, movie prop 146 Griffon helicopter?
ReplyDeleteBlame Canada?
Seems like the footage was pulled. Or at least it wasn't showing on my computer.
ReplyDeleteKevin
this seemed more like a hype video for the website... and the military equipt did seem pretty old...
ReplyDeleteanyone notice near the end, one of the captions said...
"1-18-08?
cloverfield?
chocolate?
monstrous?
???"
for a site that claims to have so much, why call it monstrous when it was denounced by abrams, and what the effin eff is chocolate?
i dont recall "chocolate" from anything we've found before
Sorry, I think I screwed up the link... try it now:

BTW, Chocolate is another wild rumor, which I don't normally like to report. I believe someone mentioned it in the comments that Chocolate was another filming "code name" for Cloverfield. I think that the fact that it is a code name (if that's even true) MEANS that it is NOT the real title.
FWIW, I don't think JJ has even come up with a name yet. He'll probably wait to hear the 6 million suggestions from us, then pick a winner. :)
dennis - !!!!
ReplyDeletefigured this would be the quickest way to alert you...
slash film (/film) is reporting a possible title for cloverfield!
heres the link!

actually, hueys are still used (sparingly). they're actually still viable.
ReplyDeleteuntil recently, we still had the f-14. it was "retired" a few months ago.
so, not against the huey. maybe it's the A-Team vs. Smokey?? hahaha
Has anyone gone to ABZ3293.com?
ReplyDeleteIs that related in anyway?
The license plate in the car in the trailer is ABZ3293... That's probably already been discussed... But I just noticed the number
I thought that JJ Abrams said that they were done filming. He said that all they had to do was edit the thing. Did anyone else hear that?

ReplyDeleteThanks for the info!
I say ... meh. I don't really buy that evidence - it could be for any number of other projects, including a completly unrelated movie. They don't mention how many other movies titles this guy has registered - 100s? 1000s?
Everyday there is a new title for the movie. If you are trying to make an iconic monster movie, what kind of name would "overnight" be? maybe we should keep a list of all the suggested titles...

This is a "game jack" / "fan fake" website. Check out Unfiction's complete list of Cloverfield related websites here.
I don't know if it was a goof on the Slusho page before, but someone posted that it says "You can't just drink six" on the back of the hat, but I don't see the misspelling now, just the same old "You can't drink just six"

I guess they fixed it!
THAT THEY DID
