  3. Common sense and careful observation proved that there were never two monsters, google"field". People are just lazy and don't like to think too much. Even a lot of people who've been keeping up with Cloverfield seem to be a bit on the slow side when it comes to analyzing everything.

  4. That monster design is so complex ... though it looks like the main form of the creature was influenced by Sachiel ( The first angel from the anime "Neon Genesis Evangelion" :

im sure JJ and his son could have saw/found toys of evangelion in japen, Duh ~ )

The Kishin manga also have other characteristics that reminds the concept of "Neon Genesis Evangelion" ... like the connection between a boy with a lack of self-confidence and a creature .

I won't call neville page a copycat or a thief because he is still created some amazing biological abilities and added a unique animalistic look to the creature (Plus he is an artist in a whole other level, i mean his drawings are out of this world ... btw i like to draw too, so i really appreciate his creations .

    * Oh and for whoever of you who doesn't know, the second way of eating of the creature is probably (almost sure) through his little arms placed on the hip .
he got a little mouth in each palm, and the arms are actually working like an esophagus.
(you can see some of the creature sketches in the DVD extra : "I Saw It! It's Alive! It's Huge!") *

Sorry if im expanding the topic too much XD

  5. the Cloverfield looked a lot scarier in the movie. But there it just looks scrawny and kinda goofy. Good thing they never showed the whole thing in the movie. I hope in possible sequels they retool the monster to be scarier.
