  1. It'd be funny if the 11-dollar guy was Randy, and he thought it'd be the best night ever because he knew the monster was going to attack.

  9. You really should make a post pointing to Harry's review over at Ain't It Cool News. If he's not completely high, he swears it's a genre changing movie and will absolutely go beyond the hype. It may be the most enthusiastic review I've ever read. There are a few spoilers, but nothing major that most of us who visit this site don't know. I was already excited about seeing it, but now I'm just out of my mind!

  10. yeah what s said, but maybe just leave out the monster and storyline spoilers Dennis?

It is a very enthusiastic review..

  11. Hey all,

I wasn't sure where to put this, because I'm not sure if anyone else has thought about this, so I put it here.

I'm way into volcanoes, geology and stuff and it occurred to me that the sites of the Tagruato drilling stations are generally either on or pretty near volcanic/geologic hot spots on the Earth. The Chaui station is on the mid-atlantic ridge, a very geologically active area, and some of the stations in the Pacific are almost directly on the "ring of fire."

I wonder if the geothermal heat incubates the "whatever" it is or helps produce the Seabed Nectar?

Sorry if this has been part of another post/old discussion from before I started really looking into things.

This just hit me today and I wanted to hear what ya'll thought.

  12. Yeah I was going to mention the AICN review by Knowles last night. It's EXTREMELY positive and encouraging, and I'm very excited!

    BUT!!!!!!

Yes, there are two paragraphs that should be redacted if you post a copy of that interview here. You'll know them the moment you read them, they are rather specific about the monster, and about some of the character development in the story.

And, yes, this clinches it. Man am I sick and tired of hearing "it's alive its huge." They really should have given that a rest a long time ago. It's a monster, we get it.

  13. look at the screencap of them holding the door and then watch the trailer again as well, (hi res link best viewing), seems like somthing splatted on the lens, and looks like blood..

  14. Ok now this was a great commercial. Not as good as #14 but still awesome.

Oh and this commercial SO provides for the "Smaller monsters" theory. There's gonna be a big monster and its army of smaller monsters. And this commercial best examplifies it! But what do they look like?...
    -.-

  15. And I agree, I dont live in America but is 15 TV Spots a little...TOO much?

They're probably going to have 18 in all.

  16. These trailers get better and better!

I also like how the night vision shot looks like marlena and lily are kinda laughing.

  17. Looks like the mini-monsters have some sort of night-vision.... hmm..... One week to go.

  18. Hold it! Has anyone noticed the numbers "742" on the wall behind Rob and Beth as they're holding back the door? It's right above the IGN Logo.

  19. I'm loving this. This definitely proves about there being probably smaller monsters.

Oh and yeah about that AICN review by Knowles. Definitely needs to be edited before being posted. I read it and it does give away I guess two things people have been speculating and another interesting twist of events in the movie.
