Cloverfield Buzz Still Strong On Yahoo!

According to Yahoo Buzz, the search buzz is still strong for Cloverfield, charting in the Top 20 Movies for over a month. In fact right now, Cloverfield is the number one movie search term, beating out Juno and Transformers.

One odd thing I noticed is Blake Lively, who was originally rumored to be in the movie, is on the list of top 20 decliners in searches.

  1. Okay, so I admit it, I totally caved and read the new review over at aintitcoolnews. Fortunately, it didn't have too many spoilers at all. But DAMN was it positive. He called it "Amazing," "Worth every bit of hype it's gotten since July" and called it an "Indie film you wish Steven Spielberg would make", and the last thing he thought when the film was over involved wanting to see it 5 more times.

    Sounds great!

  5. I had no idea who he was, but apparently he's had glowing reviews of less than stellar films. While disappointing it's not from someone more respected, I still have high hopes. I just hope no one in my theater bitches about the romance sub-plot while the movie is going.

(just in case, the rob/beth thing has been talked about for a while, so I don't think it's a spoiler)

He does talk about what the monster looks like, but does not reveal the ending.

  9. Just saw the screening in Atlanta- the movie is well worth the hype, imo. I will definately be going to see it again this weekend! My legs are still cramped from being so tense!
