  10. Stupid me with a stupid question, does the prop dept on movies make the jewelry? I'm trying to find Marlena's sea horse pendant, but I can't find another one exactly like it anywhere.

    ReplyDelete
  11. No they don't. The costume designer purchases the jewelry and then puts the outfits together for the movie. Maybe a magazine will focus on the jewelry and inform about which designer it is from or you can check out the thanks yous during the credits and find the designer listed there.

  12. Thanks me, I hope the Thank You section has something, but I won't see it again until it comes out on DVD. It's just frustrating, because the prop site says what brand the clothes are, but doesn't say a thing about the pendant.

    ReplyDelete
  13. yeah... or they could have bought it at a store where they sell accessories and its mass manufactured so there is no real designer just a brand. check it out.

  14. The Gorillaz are gonna be excited that they got a piece of the action, even if it was just a small one.

  15. Oh wow a Bright Eyes song XD XD XD Whoever made the mix CD has won my heart.

Also, I kept giggling at the Nokia advertising in the movie: the batteries and the poster in the subway tunnel that they're sitting right below.

  16. Got anyone a Slusho cup for me ???

  17. Does anybody know the name of the song that plays over the credits at the end; that retro-style Monster music thing? I've been looking, but I can't find it anywhere.

  18. @the roog: It's called "ROAR! (Cloverfield Overture)"

    ReplyDelete
  19. OKAY! sorry people ... I have given away all the cloverfield stuff I had... no more emails please.

    ReplyDelete
  20. roog, they listed the credit songs at the end of the credits. Unfortunately, I believe they were original compositions, but I know I'll be recording them once the DVD comes out ;) Anything with opera vocals rules IMO.

  21. Hey, there's a phone number on the CD case! Marlena's number... can anyone tell what that faded digit is?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Has anyone called it?

    ReplyDelete
  23. I called the number, a recording says:

I'm sorry the number you have reached
    718-655-0542
is not in service at this time, no further information is available.

What's strange is that it sounds like the Tagruato recording. And it says NO FURTHER INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE, which is WEIRD. Usually "not in service" recordings dont have that last part.

After looking at the CD cover 1000 times, thats definitely a "5".

  24. I doubt there are that many phone lines left standing in Manhattan ;)

I swear, I have scoured the net for two days, I can't find a copy of that seahorse pendant. I can only hope the thank you section in the credits will help me.

  25. @Smokey:
Try calling variations on the number ie: 718-635-0542

You get the same: NO FURTHER INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE

    Strange...
